My First Entry

Technically, this isn't my first time to blog. I have my multiply account where I keep my precious-stuff-slash-tidbits-of-my-life and where every now and then, I put to writing some of my thoughts, relevant or not, just so I can 'unload'. It's fun actually. I sometimes get so much excited (with my few posts) that I don't wait for friends to discover the post themselves but instead go blabbing about it. Nothing wrong with that. But there are also times when you seriously seriously want to unload about some things, serious things (as if), but you also are hesitant to write about it because...OK, maybe not really serious stuff but say for example you are very much disgusted about your room mate's smelly feet but you just can't write about it because one day your room mate will read about it. Bang! World War III! Another is: you feel so sad on Valentine's day because apparently your boyfriend has no plans and you were expecting something big. You want to pour out your emotions but you can't because friends might think that he's a no-good boyfriend.

OK, I probably need a diary but diaries are so decades ago! I want something personal but not so far behind where in I can broadcast to the world all my thoughts, experiences, etcetera, without any qualms, any hesitations. I want a wall where I can freely write anything under the sun.

Segue a bit: It's really funny because while making this entry, I was exchanging text messages with a friend. Our conversation started with my rants on buying a new pair of swimsuits for this summer and how I wanted to get one with nice material and construction but just don't have the luxury for it. In reply, she quotes a local celeb- "I haven't watched any of the concerts by foreign artists. It's just the odd reason that I couldn't spend that much for a ticket unless free, why not?!" Same with my thought on the swimsuit daw, nice to spend if you have sobrang money. Then I answered back with my thoughts on travelling (which is connected with my swimsuit dilemma, I tell you.): I am not so much into travelling. (Don't get me wrong though. I do love travelling and see the world and learn about other cultures. I just have my reasons.) Yeah, it's all worth the expense but you go home to your non-extravagant life with your parents having problems on where to get money for your younger brother's allowance! Guess what her reply was: "hahahaha I think you (should) make a blog and don't tell your friends about the URL. That way you can express thoughts running through your head...interesting!"

That is so what I'm writing at this very moment! Chadaaaannnnn.... Thus, the birth of this blog: Confessions of a Silent Observer. Why the title? go figure!=)

I hope this blog gets another day. Sometimes, if not all the time, I'm only good on day one.
